MediaXchange bridges the gap between EVS’ world renowned broadcast production servers and third party tools. Whether in live production or post production environments, MediaXchange acts as the gateway between EVS servers and popular NLEs through the industry-standard MXF file format.
Content can be directly transferred and edited on popular editors such as Apple Final Cut Pro or Avid Media Composers. To streamline acquisition, footage shot on Sony XDCAM or Panasonic P2 camcorders can be made directly available to an EVS XT[2]+ server for maximum efficiency.
In addition, MediaXchange offers several tools to totally automate the process of re-wrapping or transcoding media files, allowing it to become a totally hands-off unattended process.
